Happy Paperback Book Day!

To celebrate this annual occasion, let’s focus on two different versions of a fantastically titled, pulpy novel that was originally published in 1947: Lady, That’s My Skull, by Carl Shannon (mentioned in Bill Pronzini’s 1982 work Gun in Cheek). The first image below appeared on the 1951 Harlequin Books paperback edition, featuring cover artwork by Lyle Glover (sometimes credited as “Amos” Glover).
