Both fronts were painted by Robert Maguire. The paperback edition of The Obituary Club, by Hugh Pentecost (aka Judson Philips), was released by Dell Books in 1960. The cover displayed here of Michael Avallone’s Violence in Velvet was published by Signet in 1956.
