File These Under “Strange”

Via the Caustic Cover Critic comes word that the oddly named and image-obsessed blog, If Charlie Parker Was a Gunslinger, There’d Be a Whole Lot of Dead Copycats, “has instituted a new category, for strange book covers.” The fronts posted there earlier today by contributor Daniel Riccuito certainly live up to that description, including this bizarre specimen, showing a young woman either being attacked or seduced by insects--I can’t tell which it is.
